mitzvah project, December 18, 2011
Volunteers join to “Spread the Warmth.”
Kids and adults joined together at Congregation Ohav Sholom in
Merrick the Sunday before
Chanukah to donate and pack holiday goodies for clients of a nearby L.I. food
pantry.The
program was a project of UJA-Federation of New York's Connections, in
cooperation with
Merrick-Bellmore Jewish Community Council and its
constituent synagogues.
